BOJANGLES ON FREEDOM DRIVE HAD ROACHES DURING INSPECTION

Date:

On August 3, 2022 an 87.50 B grade was handed down to the Bojangles located at 2929 Freedom Drive Charlotte, NC.

So lets start with the roaches. During the inspection, the inspector saw live roaches in the restaurant.

Metal pans were on the drying shelf as clean, but they were heavily soiled and not washed, rinsed, or sanitized.

Several employees were preparing food without hair restraints or beard guards. The shelves in the walk in cooler were rusting and soiled.

Black residue was on the walls and ceiling tiles. There was dripping water from the air vents. General cleaning was needed throughout the facility.

Old standing water was on the floor in tight areas and behind equipment.

Bojangles employees had their personal food stored on shelves at the food prep line.
