On October 12, 2021 Miranda Springs, 30, was found dead in a wooded area near J. Julian Lane Charlotte, NC. Saafiq Hall, 26, is charged with the murder of Miranda.
Shortly after 7:00 a.m., on October 12, 2021, officers responded to an attempt to locate call. Upon arrival, officers were directed to a wooded area on J. Julian Lane and located the dead body of Miranda. This investigation is being classified as a homicide.
From information and evidence obtained, officers identified Saafiq as a suspect and charged him with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and first degree kidnapping. Saafiq was arrested on October 12th.
